Reed Switches from Meder Electronic. Over the years the Reed Switch has shrunk from approximately 50mm to 6mm. This small size have opened up many more applications particularly in RF and fast time domain requirements. A Reed Switch can switch or carry as low as 10 nanoVolt without signal loss and is able to switch up to 10kV. It can switch or carry as low as 1 femptoA up to 5A. Temperature ranges from –55 C to 200 C. There are SMD, through hole mounted and axial types and all switches can be customised with cut and bend pins to fit in to the customers applications. |
